Christmas Food Fair at Garvey’s SuperValu Tralee on Dec 6

-

GARVEY’S SuperValu in Tralee will host its annual Christmas Food Fair on Friday, December 6 at 6pm giving customers a chance to interact and gain an understanding of where their food is sourced and prepared, while also enjoying a festive atmosphere. Christmas Carol singers, spot prizes and raffles will add to the occasion, while the man himself, Santa, will be there to welcome children. It’s a festive and fun event for all the family.

Sandra Lynch is the Manager of Garvey’s SuperValu Tralee and she explains that they hope to have around 10 local producers there on the night showcasing their produce. Garvey’s SuperValu also prides itself in producing its own in-house produce, which will feature on the night.

“It gives customers the chance to sample some of our own in-store products from our deli and bakery range, which is something we’re very proud of here at Garvey’s SuperValu Tralee. This is a tribute to our wonderful staff,” Sandra said.

Garvey’s own in-store chef, Garry, will be doing a cooking demonstration and will offer some cooking hints and tips. There will be food tastings from signature tastes ranges, exclusive to SuperValu. Cronin’s Cider will offer a festive mulled cider drink to customers on entry, which can be enjoyed along with Garvey SuperValue’s very own festive mince pies. “An event such as this lets us say ‘thank you’ to our loyal customers who support us throughout the year. Our customers can expect that bit extra in terms of quality at Christmas. I would just like to wish all our customers a very happy Christmas and a prosperous 2020.”
