YOUNG AGE ACTION

THERE were great games all across the county featuring our youngest stars. In the boys there were 20 U-10 teams and two U-11s involved while in the girls it was all the U-11s that were in action.

JK SPORTS UNDER 12 Premier

LEADERS MEK Galaxy continue to lead the division thanks to a 6-0 win at home to Tralee Dynamos.

The game was tight at the break with the winners leading 2-0 thanks to Kevin McCarthy who got both goals. He added three more and Fergal Murphy one to wrap up their fourth win in five games.

Killarney Athletic has made it three wins from three with a 4-0 home win at home to the Park. The Woodlawn side had goals from Mark O’Carroll and Szymon Jasinski with two own goals added to these goals.

Killarney Celtic were 3-1 at half-time thanks to goals from Pa O’Brien, an own goal and Shay McCormack with Giovanni McCarthy replying for Killorglin. JJ O’Donoghue added a fourth to Celtic’s total in the second half.

Division 1

GOALS from Robbie Guest and Michael O’Mahony gave Inter Kenmare a 2-1 win at home to Park C and it moves them up to second behind the side they defeated.

Dean Courtney replied for the Tralee side.

Division 2 North

FOUR wins from four games see The Park move to the top of the table. Goals from Brian Feely, Shaujb Alisi and Michael O’Brien saw them defeat neighbours Tralee Dynamos B. Ballyheigu­e had an impressive away win at Fenit with Aodhan Horgan Xavier Wiensiersk­i (2), Brandon Leen, Adam Lee and Mathew O’Sullivan all scoring.

Division 2 South

GOALS from Jack Diver (3), Padraig Manning, Tamin and Cillian MacNamara gave Dingle Bay Rovers a fourth away win in the Division defeating Inter Kenmare to move onto twelve points. A cracking Killian

Fitzgerald free kick and a second from Conor Cottz saw MEK Galaxy B draw 2-2 away at Killarney Celtic B.

Killarney Athletic B brought the three points home from their trip to Killorglin B. The Athletic goals came from Alex Doolan (2), Cillian Collins, Darragh O’Donoghue, Liam Harmon, David Courtney, Gregory Pawlak and Finn O’Donnell.

DALY’S SUPERVALU UNDER 13 Division 2

CAMP Juniors won away at Listowel Celtic. Mikey O’Leary scored four for Camp Juniors and these were added to by two from Darragh Murphy and one from Mark Vansteanki­ste.
