NEWLY promoted Castlegregory are taking this division by storm and they had another hugely impressive win on Friday disposing of Ballyheigue Athletic with a far degree of comfort.
This win puts them five points ahead of The Park and Ballyheigue Athletic and they appear to be the side to beat in this division. Alan Fitzgerald (2), Brandon Hoare and Maurice Slattery scored for the West Kerry side.
Ballyheigue Athletic 2 Atletico Ardfert 1
BALLYHEIGUE came out with their noses in front against neighbours Athletico Ardfert. Pa McElligott and Michael Leane scored for the seasider’s while JJ Prior was the Ardfert scorer.
DENNY DIVISION 1B Killarney Athletic ‘B’ 3 Ballymac Celtic 1
A BIG surprise here with Killarney Athletic B defeating Ballymac Galaxy a side that is fancied to feature in the title race. Dwyer Tobin scored for Ballymac.
Classic FC ‘B’ 0 CS Clochain Breanainn 2
CSCB solidified their grip at the top of the table with a good win over Classic FC which puts them six points ahead of Castlemaine United who have two games in hand. Cian O’Grady and Jimmy O’Grady scored for the West Kerry side.
Killorglin B 3 Windmill United 3
IN a very entertaining game the sides had to settle for a point each. Paul Browne, Shane Ahern and Mikey O’Sullivan scored for Killorglin. Killorglin had a great chance at the end of the game to take all three points but Jack O’Leary’s strike hit the post.
DENNY DIVISION 2A Rattoo Rovers B 3 Sneem Santos 0
RATTOO Rovers upset the apple card here with a great win over Sneem Santos. Darragh Quinlan (2) and Padraig Slattery scored for the Ballyduff side.
Tralee Dynamos ‘B’ 1 Mastergeeha 5
MASTERGEEHA closed the gap at the top of the table to just 2 points from leaders Mainebank with an impressive win over Tralee Dynamos B.

Kilflynn City 7 CS Abbeydorney 1
KILLFLYNN City went on a right scoring spree in this game demolishing CS Abbeydorney in the process. Jordan Conway bagged a hat trick Darragh O’Donoghue netted a brace and Stephen Moroney and Daniel O’Rourke completed the scoring for the winners
DENNY DIVISION 2B Lenamore Rovers 3 MEK Galaxy ‘B’ 7
IT was raining down goals out in Ballylongford on Sunday with Lenamore Rovers and MEK Galaxy producing a 10-goal game that kept supporters very happy.
At the end of a free flowing game MEK won with plenty left in the tank and they remain just a point behind the joint league leaders Windmill United and Killorglin C.

Best on the day for the winners were Frank Cronin, Jack Dee and Dave Keirns. Jake Kelly (2) and Shane O’Sullivan scored for Lenamore.
Claunmaurice United 1 Killorglin ‘C’ 6
KILLORGLIN remain joint table toppers in this division with Windmill United after a big win over Clanmaurice. The final scoreline is bit deceiving as it was 2-1 with 15 minutes to go but a late flurry of goals by Killorglin wrapped up the game.
Aidan O’Sullivan scored a hat trick, for the winners Dean Callan scored twice and Christian Fleming completed the scoring.
This is a very competitive division with Windmill and Killorglin joint table toppers and MEK Galaxy just a point behind with two games in hand.
