This is now a well-established occasion in the Listowel retailers’ calendar of events and is a much anticipated date for shoppers across North Kerry and West Limerick with many shoppers coming from even further afield to soak up the atmosphere in Listowel’s beautiful stores and festive streets.
It’s a chance for shoppers to avail of extended opening hours on Sunday in the lead up to Christmas and to check out the range of items and special offers available. This is an ideal time to source those all-important gifts. From a retail point of view, it’s also a good time to make a start on the Christmas shopping. All the shops will be open on the day to embrace the festive spirit. On top of that, it marks the official start of those magical Sunday afternoon atmospheres that are unique to Listowel in the lead up to Christmas.
