East Kerry GAA medal presentations
THE East Kerry GAA medal presentation night for our victorious East Kerry Minor, Under 21 and Senior teams and the Eoghan Ruadh U-16 District County champions is this Friday at 8pm in the Killarney Heights Hotel. The Guest of Honour is Kerry GAA chairman Tim Murphy. A mulled wine reception will be followed by a threecourse meal. Tickets are €25 and a limited number of tickets available for parents and the general public are currently on sale.
EOGHAN Ruadh indoor work was completed on Sunday night in Gneeveguilla hall. The players taking part over the last seven weeks have improved and developed at all levels. Evan Cronin (ITT) has delivered a varied and challenging programme. Thanks to Pat Barry (Gneeveguilla) for his support during the seven week period.
Vince Cooper East Kerry/Kenmare GDA was delighted to see the great effort made by all players. It is important that all players continue to work over the holiday period to maintain progress. The indoor work will resume on Sunday January 5.
The East Kerry AGM takes place on Friday, January 10 at 7pm.
MID KERRY GAA Joan McGillycuddy
THE Mid Kerry Minor Championship Final Derry O’Sullivan Memorial Cup sponsored by Keane’s Supervalu Killorglin between Laune Rangers and Beaufort is refixed for Saturday, December 21 at 1pm in Glenbeigh. Replay in the event of a draw. The Man of the Match award is sponsored by Keane’s Supervalu Killorglin.
The Mid Kerry AGM will be held in Cromane on Monday, January 13 at 8.30pm. Nominations and motions have to returned to the Secretary on or before Thursday, January 2.
CONGRATULATIONS to the Mid Kerry competitors who represented their clubs so well on Sundya in the County Final of Scór na nÓg held in Glenbeigh.
Congratulations to the Laune Rangers Figure Dancers who came second in their competition. Because of the high standards in all the disciplines the other Mid-Kerry representatives were unlucky not to be placed. We will look forward to Scór na bPáistí in the spring.
