Thank you all for your continued support. COISTE NA NOG: Firies Coiste Na nOg will hold their AGM on Thursday evening the 23rd in Pairc Eamonn Meeting Room at 8pm. We are constantly looking for volunteers, so please if you are available to help (no matter how small), we would be thrilled to have a few new faces. Note that following the AGM, we will be having our initial 2020 coaches meeting. PARISH LEAGUE 2020: Ballyhar retained the title of Parish League champions for 2020 by beating Firies in the final. It what was a very entertaini­ng day of football. Thanks to everyone that made the day possible and especially to all the players that togged out and the officials on the day. Looking forward to next year already. HURLING: Firies Coiste na nÓg’ Juvenile Hurling Club celebrated an outstandin­g year of success on Saturday afternoon in Pairc Eamonn, Farranfore. Club Chairman; Tim Clifford along with the ever dedicated Hurling co-ordinator; Paudie O’Sullivan and coaches thanked each of the members and coaches present for their time and remarkable fortitude for the fastest game in GAA.

A now juvenile stronghold in Kerry, Firies welcomed both Kerry Senior Hurler; Adam O’Sullivan and Colm O’Brien; Kerry Hurling Games Promotion Officer who presented the hurlers with either their certificat­es of participat­ion or the silverware accumulate­d during the year; U10 Donie Brosnan Tournament cup, U12 South Kerry division 2 league and U13 South Kerry division 2 league. Marvellous praise has to go to club for it resilience and recruitmen­t of players from Firies and neighbouri­ng communitie­s. We are looking forward to next year already. EAST KERRY ALL-STARS: Well done to East Kerry team manager and Former Firies Player and Manager, Jerry O’Sullivan who was awarding andquot;East Kerry Person of the Year at the weekend at the East Kerry All-Start awards night.
