MASTERGEEHA narrowed the gap at the top of the table to just 2 points after a very comfortable win over CS Abbeydorney. James Nagle, Dylan Murphy, Barry O’Leary, Paul Moroney and Gearoid Kerins scored for the Kilcummin side.

SPECTATORS got great value for money in this game with neighbours Rattoo Rovers and Kilmoyley serving up an eight-goal thriller. Darragh Quinlan, Dylan Moriarty, Nathan McGrath, Rhys Doyle and Darragh Slattery scored for Rattoo Rovers and James McCarthy (2) and James Godley scored for Kilmoyley Athletic.

DENNY DIVISION 2B Killorglin C 8 Clanmaurice 2

KILLORGLIN claimed the three points easily in a one sided game. This game was over as a contest at half time with Killorglin ahead 5-0 with goals from Dean Callan (2), James O’Sullivan and Jamie O’Sullivan and Ronan

O’Shea.

Killorglin made four changes at the break bringing in Chris Galvin, Vinnie West, Mitch O’Sullivan and Cathal Crosby the game eventually finished 8-2 with goals from Darren O’Riordan, (2) and a Cathal Crosby corner that went all the way to the net.

This brings Killorglin up to second in the division but only on goal difference and with MEK flying it at the moment it seems to be a fight between 4 or 5 teams for the second spot.

WINDMILL collected the 3 points with a narrow win over Classic FC. David O’Connor scored both of Classic’s goals.
