IT will be a very special occasion for the families of three Kerry Clubs: Spa and Glenflesk, both East Kerry Board and Finuge representing the North Kerry Football Board and Coiste Scór Chiarrai at the All Ireland Scór na nÓg Finals will be held this Saturday in the INEC Killarney with activities getting underway at 11.30pm with the Quiz; the first part of the days programme followed at 3pm with the stage competition.

Now on the previous night, (Friday) with a starting time of 8.30pm there will be a concert free of charge for anybody attending which will have plenty Music, Song, Dance and Act and will feature participants from all four Provences young and old and will be held in the Mangerton Suite in the hotel.

It promises to be a great night of entertainment showcasing all things Scor. Kerry are honoured to have 14 young people from the County compete in this year’s final in three of the discplines; Quiz, Ballad Group and Instrumental Music and certainly there is an air of confidence throughout the County that all three Clubs involved in the various catagories are deserving ambassadors with plenty talent and will not let the Kingdom down. Spa, who no strangers to All-Ireland Scór, will be Kerry’s first competitors to go into action where they will be up against 11 other counties in the first part of the Quiz discpline and directly after the interval; this discpline; (Quiz part 2) will be finalised.

Spa have a great record in this part of Scor having just been pipped at the post for their threein-a-row of National titles so they will be all out to regain the title they last held in 2016. Moving on to fifth catagory of the day and here we have the Glenflesk Ballad Group and having been represented previously in many of the discplines and winning in Figure Dancing, Solo Singing and Recitation; this time around they will be striving to bring the first Ballad Group National title to the

Kingdom.

Finuge from the North Kerry Football Board will have to wait until the penultimate discpline for their entrance on stage were very much involved back the years and recently have once again revived interest taking part in competition so no doubt they will be all out on this occasion to make a big impression on this special day for the club and will be all out to pick up that first All Ireland medal in Scór.

This is a ticket only event and can be purchased on the day at
