To celebrate World Cancer Day, Recovery Haven Kerry will host an open day at our base at 5 Haig’s Terrace, Killerisk, Tralee on Tuesday next, February 4th from 1-3pm. Everyone is invited to pop in for afternoon tea and see for themselves the wonderful services provided by our charity, as we mark our 10th anniversar­y in 2020.

NOEL’S DANCE

A date for your diaries not to be missed is the hugely popular Noel’s Dance featuring P.J Murrihy and Patrick O’Sullivan on Monday 17th February at Ballygarry House Hotel and Spa. Doors open at 8.30pm and tickets are on sale here at Recovery Haven Kerry reception for €10 each or at the door on the night. All proceeds are for Recovery Haven Kerry Cancer Support House.

TRACTOR RUN

We are so excited to join forces with the good people of Barraduff for their second fundraisin­g run will now take place on Sunday, February 9th. The event is open to tractors (vintage and non-vintage), vintage cars and motorbikes up to 75CC. Registrati­on takes place in Barraduff village from 11am. VOLUNTEER THERAPISTS

With client numbers and demand for our services increasing month to month, Recovery Haven is seeking volunteer complement­ary therapists to offer one-to-one therapies to our clients. The charity is particular­ly looking for fully-qualified massage, reflexolog­y and beauty therapists to come on board on a voluntary basis, working either with from Recovery Haven’s Tralee base for as little as three hours per week or at our Killarney Outreach Service (twice a month).
