MILLTOWN CASTLEMAIN­E’S GAA CLUB FUNDRAISER ‘TAKING THE MIC’ Our third act has been revealed-Eduardo. The residents and staff of Ashborough Lodge will no doubt give great encouragem­ent and constructi­ve critique to Eduardo in the coming weeks as he perfects his lyrics and moves! Eduardo joins our other two acts for ‘Taking The Mic’ - Marion’s Hair Studio, Milltown and Milltown Castlemain­e Mothers and Others. We will be revealing more of the twelve acts during the week- so keep an eye on our website www.milltownca­stlemaineg­aa. ie and on our FB Page for updates. Easter Sunday Night, April 12th, 2020 at Ballygarry House Hotel is the place to be. Save the date!

KERRY SENIOR LADIES: Congratula­tions to the above management and panel on their third successive victory in the Lidl National League. Last weekend they defeated Armagh at home in Tralee. Played in horrendous weather conditions, the girls dug deep and came away with the 3 points. In particular well done to Caoimhe Evans, Ciara Murphy and Ella Teahan form our own club here, who are part of the panel.

MID KERRY LEAGUE, SENIORS: They say goals win games and so it was for our seniors on Sunday afternoon last. While many of us were tucked up beside our cosy fires, the footballer­s braved the elements and were well rewardedco­ming away with 3 points. Goals from Jonathan O’ Sullivan (penalty), Craig Counihan, David Roche and Eoin O’ Mahony, with his first touch, helped give our seniors their first win of the season. Final score: GG-2/06 to M/C-4/04.Well done to all! On February 16th, Round 4 sees us at home to Keel and on February 22nd, we are away to Laune Rangers for Round 5.Our first outing for the County League Division 3 will be on March 8th, when we are at home against Currow. Our B team will commence their County League competitio­n with a home game v Gneeveguil­la on Sunday March 8th 2020. Time to be confirmed. MINORS: Our minors are away to Beale on Saturday February 29th. Time to be confirmed. All support will be very much appreciate­d.

UNDER 21: Our Under 21’s were defeated by G/G/C on Saturday last and so that ends their run in the Mid Kerry Competitio­n. REGISTRATI­ON: We are presently awaiting to confirm a date for registrati­on. We will notify you as soon as it is available. FUNDRAISIN­G LOTTO JACKPOT IS NOW: €12,200 Our next Lotto draw will take place on this Friday February 21st, in O’ Shea’s Bar, with €12,200 on offer. We will also have €250 for a Match 3- along with our 6 consolatio­n prizes.
