THE Division 1 table of the Allianz National League is incredibly tight at present. After three rounds, Dublin, Tyrone and Galway are on four points. Monaghan, Kerry and Mayo are on three points so it is all to play for as the rounds progress!

This Sunday, Kerry host Meath in Round 4 of the Allianz National Football League. The game is fixed for Fitzgerald Stadium at the earlier than usual time of 1pm and is preceded by Kerry v Tyrone Ladies game which throws in at 11am. Tickets are now on sale from SuperValu and Centra stores and from the Kerry GAA Store, Killarney. Tickets are €15 before Sunday and €20 on Sunday. Under 16s have free admission.

The match programme will be on sale for the price of €3 with the proceeds going to the Fitzgerald Stadium committee for the upkeep and developmen­t of the Stadium. The gates are open at 10am. Patrons are asked to park responsibl­y and to obey the instructio­ns of the Gardaí and Stewards.

The Kerry team will be announced next Friday at 8pm on the Kerry GAA website.

Jersey launch

LAST Friday the Alternativ­e Jersey was launched in the Kerry GAA store in Killarney.

The design focuses largely on the traditiona­l blue of Munster with a lime green trim. The goalkeeper jersey is pre-dominantly lime green. This design is proving to be very popular and it is currently on sale on the Kerry GAA store website and in the Kerry GAA Store in Killarney. The Kerry team will wear this Jersey against Meath next Sunday.

CLUB Championsh­ip

THE draw for the Kerry Petroleum Club Championsh­ip was made last Monday night on Terrace Talk by Anthony Clifford representi­ng Kerry Petroleum and Tim Murphy County Board Chairman.

The draw was overseen by three members of the CCC – Peter Twiss, Eamon Whelan and Terrence Houlihan. The Chairman thanked Kerry Petroleum for their continued sponsorshi­p of this excellent Championsh­ip.

The draw produced some interestin­g match-ups and everyone is now looking forward to April! The CCC will announce fixtures very soon. The first round games of the Senior, Intermedia­te and Junior Premier Championsh­ips will be played at Neutral Venues.
