TRALEE BRANCH AGM

Tralee branch will hold their annual AGM on Monday 24th February 8pm Grand Hotel. All are welcome.

EVENTS

The Annual Brendan O’Leary walk and the 10 miler/5km run were both postponed due to the bad weather on Sunday last. Michelle the organiser of the road race has decided to have the race now on the 1st of March at 11am from the Rose Hotel. Keep an eye on facebook as Michelle will reopen registration if you would like to run.

CHEQUE PRESENTATION

A huge thank you to the gang from the Castlecove swim who popped in to the Day Unit on Friday to make a cheque presentation. They raised €1,000 in their swim and was done in memory of Baby Daniel Murphy and Margerite O’Connor. Well done to all involved and we are hugley grateful to all who supported.

PORTMAGEE ANNUAL SWIM

The wonderful group from the Portmagee Swim continue to amaze with their mighty fundraising efforts. A total of €71,000 they have raised over the years with their annual Christmas Day swim. This year’s swim raised €7,500. A huge well done to all the organisers of this wondeful event and of course to all who continue to support it, we thank you.

EVENTS COMING UP

There will be an afternoon event in the Devon Inn on the 29th of March at 2pm. Tickets are availble in many local outlets or by ringing Claire 0872822117. The winner of last week’s Split The Bucket for Castlisland RFC was Vincent Murphy who won €1,193. Vincent is very kindly donating €1,000 of his winnings to Palliative Care Unit. We are so grateful to you Vincent for this very kind gesture. We thank you for thinking of the Unit.
