KILLARNEY LIBRARY

Killarney Library will host a talk entitled Teaching Interventi­ons for children and adults with ASD on Thursday 20th February at 6.30pm. The talk will be delivered by Dr. Crawford, an internatio­nal expert on autism. Also, Dr. Crawford’s Autism workshop on Satirday 29th February has limited spaces so prior booking is essential. Free admission to both events.

COMHALTAS

Kilcummin Comhaltas Sult na nÓg takes place on the 7th and 8th March. We are urgently looking for volunteers for both days (full or half days) - Tralee IT on the 7th, Fossa Community Centre on the 8th. Comhaltas County Board would greatly appreciate your support. Please contact 087 119353.

Vacancies presently exist on the C.E Scheme. These positions involve Community Care, maintenanc­e of Village and a Gardener in Killarney. It is for 19.5 hours per week. This is a developmen­t opportunit­y and no experience is necessary as full training is provided.

Due to the bad weather over the weekend, most of our games were cancelled so not much to report this week.
