DEATH

The death has taken place of Lily Fitzgerald, Slahig. Her remains were removed from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home to St. Finian’s Church on Sunday 15th March. Her funeral mass took place on Monday, 16th March and was followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Predecease­d by her brother John, Lily is survived by her husband Pate, children Maurice, John, Pat, Nicholas, Mark, Aoife, Lisa, Damien, Paul and Niamh, grandchild­ren John, Alanah, Aiden, Lauren, Tara, Jack, Cian, Grace, Cillian, Conor and Adam, daughters-in-law Alma, Helen and Martina, sons-in-law Aidan and Johnny, sisters-in-law Peggy and Bridie, brother-in-law Jack, niece Clare, nephew Dennis, relatives, neighbours and friends to whom we offer our sincere sympathy. COLLECTION

Waterville CFR Irish heart foundation collection held on the 21st February. Thanks to all those that supported this great cause and from the committee of the first responders a big thanks again to the volunteers. We raised €1000. Thank you again for your support.
