PENSIONS

The Department of Employment and Social Protection has announced that pensions and social welfare payments will now be made fortnightl­y instead of weekly. But there is no need to worry as pensioners are given 90 days to collect their payments or they may get a family member or friend to collect by signing relevant form.

2020 MEMBERSHIP

2020 membership can now be renewed online. Follow the links on our social media accounts or search for Firies GAA via the ‘Find My Club’ Button on www. clubforce.com or download the clubforce app. Alternativ­ely, you can make contact with Club Secretary Kevin Cronin, Peter Costello, Paudie O’Sullivan Hurling or Fiona Walsh or any club officer/ Mentor or Member and they will be able to give you further details. All players must be registered before playing or training.
