South Kerry Skillnet: keeping business connected in C-19 era

SOUTH Kerry Skillnet is offering a funded and broad range of online courses for businesses to help them navigate their way through this difficult COVID-19 period.

This support helps businesses to keep employees engaged through remote working and upskilling.

Courses include leadership and management, childcare, Microsoft, conflict management and business planning, to name a few.

The range of online courses, many of which are free, will help strengthen businesses and put measures in place help industries come back stronger than ever.

Aoife O’Reilly, Network Manager at South Kerry Skillnet said the variety of courses include ‘Dealing with Challengin­g Behaviour’ for the childcare industry, to Microsoft Excel training at different levels.

“We have an extensive list of transversa­l skills in a supervisor­y or management position across any industry including in ‘the art of asking the right questions’; people management; time management; conflict management and resolution; customer care; leadership skills, and many more,” she said.

Aoife added that the courses are chosen with businesses in Kerry in mind, and they will help companies to come back stronger after this crisis.
