The closure of our church still remains in place as a result of and in the hope of eradicating the Covid-19 pandemic: The continuation of the decision of the Diocese of Kerry is that no public
Masses will be celebrated until further notice. Private masses will continue to be celebrated by Rev. Fr Michael Hussey P.P. with the situation being reviewed continuously.
WATCH MASS ON T.V. Parishioners are reminded that if they wish they can watch Mass daily on television, it is on the R.T.E. NEWS channel beginning at 10.30am each morning. You can also stream Mass live on the internet from the various Churches in the Diocese of Kerry such as Killarney, Tralee, Causeway, Ballyduff, Listowel, Moyvane and Dingle. Just log onto www.dioceseofkerry.ie and you will find a full list of churches in the County streamlining mass.
BEREAVEMENT
Sincerest Sympathy is extended to John Martin and all the O’Sullivan Family of Lenamore on the sad passing of their nephew Kevin Duffy of 48, North Smithfield, Rode Island, New York who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 18th last. Kevin was son of the late Maura (O’Sullivan) and her husband Michael R.I.P. To Kevin’s wife and children and all family members we extend our deepest sympathies. Unfortunately further grief was experienced by the family just two days later with the sad news of the passing of Bernadette O’Sullivan’s sister Mary Colbert (nee Power) of Ballysten, Shanagolden who died on 20th April last, Mary is survived by her husband Con, daughters Ciara, Eimear, Amy and son Conor, sisters Marguerite, Berndadette and Patricia, brothers John, Liam and Michael, brothers in law, sisters in law, family relatives, friends and neighbours to whom we extend our deepest sympathies at this time. Deepest sympathy is also extended to Betty Carmody and Family of Ballyline on the sad passing of her brother in law Con Carmody, Moyvane who died peacefully on Thursday 23rd April, last. He is predeceased by his brothers Eddie and Michael, sisters Eileen, Sr. Hannah and Kay R.I.P. To his wife Catherine brother John, sisters Elizabeth, Maria and Noreen, brothers-inlaw, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews family relatives, neighbours and friends we extend our deepest sympathies. May the light of Heaven shine on them all and May they Rest in Peace.
