BPM:

The BPM committee invite all Primary, Second and Third Level students to submit your photo for inclusion in the 2020 edition of your Parish Magazine. In these extraordinary times it will be a record for the next generation to see this generation in their schooldays during the Covid_19 Pandemic. Anyone who would like to write a tribute to a loved one who passed away during the past year to do so as soon as possible, include a photo if desired. All entries for Competitions, the Maurice Walsh Creative Writing, Johnnie Bambury Poetry, Marie Kennelly Photographic as well as entries for all levels of School competitions should be e-mailed to magazine@ballydonoghue.net or post to Lisselton Post Office.

Photographs of family occasions, both current and past, are very welcome. Include as much detail as possible with them. Confirmation or old School photos from Lisselton School 1938 - 1942 are of particular interest to the committee.

The Magazine is compiling a list of Sounds and Smells that you no longer experience, also images of the oldest thing in your house and a short description of its origin.

Finally, you might consider sharing old baking recipes, which may have been passed down from one generation to the next.

DEATHS:

The death has occurred of Margaret (Agnes) Kelly, (nee Riordan), Tullamore, Listowel. Sympathy is extended to her sons, James (JJ) and Timmy, her daughters, Bridie and Joanne, to their extended families, her neighbours and friends. She was predeceased by her husband,

James, her brothers and sisters.

Sympathy is extended to the Dillane family, Dromerin on the death of Patrick’s wife, Bridget (Bibi) Dillane (nee Enright, Ballyhahill), Moyvane.
