Camping and caravan parks allow you to get away from it all

-

SOME kinds of vacation seem suited to the times we live in and camping and caravan trips are certainly in vogue in 2020 for obvious reasons. Social distancing is the new norm in terms of how we must live our lives for the foreseeable future.

This has clear ramifications for how we plan to take holidays this summer, but even with overseas travel restrictions and quarantining in place, holidays can still be enjoyed at a caravan or camping site.

Think about how suited these locations are: they’re set in the great outdoors with open space and plenty of fresh air; they’re conducive to social distancing as each holiday maker or family unit can adequately adhere to the distancing rules; many caravan parks cater for camper vans that have their own toilets and shower facilities; camping and caravan sites have been working tirelessly in recent weeks preparing the health and safety guidelines, which is peace of mind that you are guaranteed.

If you’ve never been on a camping or caravan trip before, there’s a huge ‘excitement factor’ waiting for you. Being out on the open road travelling from site to site allows you to see more, be in control of your own safety, enjoy the scenery and historic sites.

COVID-19 has changed many of the things we take for granted and with the summer season in full swing, holidays are in all our minds. You don’t need to despair, instead take to the road and head to a local caravan or camping site; stay outdoors, stay safe and enjoy the kind of quality staycation you never thought was possible. It’s worth the effort.
