Please can we all support local businesses as much as we can in what is still such a difficult time. Stay local and stay safe by following all the Public Health Guidance.

LAUNE RANGERS GAA

RETURN TO PLAY: It has been a long 16 weeks since a ball was last kicked in our club. Thanks to all the coaches who kept their players busy with drills, and of course thanks to the parents who kept the ball in the hands of our young players while everyone was locked down at home. Now that we are returning to play, there is some homework to be done! For details of what is needed before underage players can return to training, click .

MEMBERSHIP: Laune Rangers membership is now open for 2020. Our subscription for this year remains unchanged - Family €70, Adult €50, OAP €20, Scór only €20. Registrars Larry Laide and Pat O’Shea will be available to take membership. Contact Larry on 086 1969250 for more information.

LOTTO: Our weekly Lotto is returning, and our first draw will coincide with the final phase of reopening on July 20th. Tickets are available to purchase now from tomorrow in the outlets that have reopened & our usual sellers. We will also be doing a special draw for all those who had continued paying standing orders throughout the last three months – a much needed revenue stream in this period

ICE CREAM CHALLENGE: The final piece of news is not Covid related. As you may have seen on our social media, Laune Rangers launched a Charity Fundraiser a couple of weeks ago – the #IceCreamChallenge. We encourage all of our players, parents, supporters etc to take on the challenge, posting it on Social Media and nominate three friends to do the same. The wider the net we cast, the more fruitful the return! Of course, important aspect to the Ice Cream Challenge is the donation to Charity. We have three very deserving charities in place:

Down Syndrome IrelandIrish Pilgrimage TrustSt Francis Special School, Beaufort

Please help us make the most of our challenge, and take part. EAT – POST – DONATE – NOMINATE!!! https://www.gofundme.com/f/ice-cream-challenge
