BOG WALKS

The Kilcummin Rural Developmen­t has in recent weeks carried out road works on the Bog Walks to elevate flooding and further work is to be carried out in the near future. The Walks comprise of two walks, a Red 9k and a Green 5k. The start of the Red walk is in upper Cockhill at the Quarry while the Green Walk start from Knockatagg­le. Suitable footwear is recommende­d for both walks. Brochures are available from the Rural Dev. Office.

Minor Football. The Minor Co League commences on Friday July 17th at 7pm with an away trip to Beaufort.

The fundraiser can be accessed online or at the post office and is only €2.50 a draw or €10 for four draws. Please support as the club has huge financial commitment­s to meet despite no Lotto at present. Draw live on Facebook every Friday night at 8 pm approx.

KILCUMMIN LOOKING GOOD

Thank you all for making such great use of the Recycling/Bottle Bank at the Village Inn. If containers are full, please do not leave your bottles, etc. there but bring them home with you again. We would also ask people who bring their dogs out for a walk to clean up after them and to respect other road/footpath users with children, buggies, etc.

Minor Football Kilcummin play Beaufort in Rd 1 of the Garveys Minor Co League this Friday in Beaufort at 7pm.

CONGRATULA­TIONS to Helen Healy who won €225.00 in Kilcummin’s Share the Pot fundraiser for the club. Tickets can be bought online or at Kilcummin P.O. Thank you for your support.

Club Lotto: The 2-weekly LOTTO draw will recommence on next Monday night July 20th with a Jackpot of €3200 to be won. Consolatio­n prizes each draw amount to €200. As this is what keeps the club viable we ask our sellers, members, supporters and general public to get behind the renewed fund raiser. Any tickets sold prior to the postponeme­nt of the last draw should also be handed in for the draw on Monday prior to 9 pm
