LISTING OF RELIGIOUS
An effort is being made this year to compile a list of people from the parish who entered religious life during the past hundred years or further back if possible. Many households in the parish had daughters who became nuns and devoted their lives for the betterment of others in this country as well as in many countries throughout the world. The number of priests and religious brothers would not be as large. If you can help with information about these people please contact 087 9654451. All help would be much appreciated.
WEEKLY NOTES
News items of local interest from clubs, organizations and individuals are always welcome for inclusion in these notes. Natives of the parish living in other parts of the country and abroad look forward to reading the news from home which is now more easily available in the on-line editions of local newspapers. They too may have a story to tell that could be of interest in the home locality. Any item for inclusion in these notes can be emailed to omaol@eircom.net or leave a phone message at 069 84039 not later than Sunday evening.
