Animal Aid calls for unified response to cruel laboratory testing

Wednesday, April 24, is World Day for Animals in Laboratories.

On this day every year, people bear witness to the suffering of animals in laboratories.

The ways these animals are harmed and killed is horrific and the suffering is on a huge scale. For instance, 2.7 million animals were used in experiments in Britain in 2022. Most of these animals will have been killed afterwards some would even be used in further experiments.

To mark this important day, Animal Aid local campaigners and many of our compassionate supporters are taking to the streets to raise awareness of animal experiments and why they should be consigned to history.
