HOSPICE QUIZ NIGHT

The annual table quiz and Raffle in aid of North West Hospice will be held in Rafters Bar on Friday night, July 29, at 8.30 p. m. Entry fee for tables of four is € 20. There will be lots of prizes and a good fun night is promised. Your support would be appreciated.

BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET

Beltra Country Market are hosting an event project ‘ Make a Garden in a Tray’ on Saturday, July 30, from 10 a. m. to midday in Beltra Hall and Grounds. This Tray Garden can then be entered into the competition for same at Beltra Show in September.

PRE- SCHOOL VACCINATION

The Pre- school vaccine is now available at the Health Centre Skreen for all children starting school this coming September. Book your appointment soon with the Nurse on any Wednesday phone 071 9166619.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

The recently held Church Gate collection for Cystic Fibrosis raised € 490 for the organisation. Many thanks to all who supported.

NEW BOOK

A new book by Fr Brendan Hoban former Curate of Dromard Church has been published and launched for sale. The new book entitled Telling the Story is a Dictionary of Killala Diocesan Clergy and is an impressive Chronicle, Dictionary and History of over 1000 Priests from the Diocese of Killala or who worked in the Diocese. The book costs € 30 and is available in the Sacristy of Skreen Church

Congratulations to Catherine ( Taheny) and David McMunn Beltra on the birth of their baby girl who was born on April 6, and Baptised on July 16.

Congratulations also to Joan ( Scott) and Aidan Kiely Carravard Dromard on the birth of their baby boy who was born on May 25, and Baptised on July 16.
