BARBECUE THANKS

St Mary’s Church, Dromore West would like to thank everyone who supported the Summer Barbecue held in the Flying Horse on Saturday, July 9. Thanks to everyone for their generous donations. During Heritage week 2016 a Local Historical Event, ‘ The Bucks and the Thrashers’ dating back to 1816 will be a re- enacted in Easkey Village on August 20 at 3 p. m., in an outdoor theatre format.

A re- enactment of a historical­ly documented gun duel between Thomas Fenton of Castletown, Easkey and John Hillas of Donecoy, Templeboy and the subsequent court case in an outdoor theatre format will take place in the streets of Easkey.
