DEMAND HIGH IN ROSSES POINT

-

ADDRESSES in Rosses Point are in demand from would- be buyers hoping to find their dream home.

There are a number of sites for sale too in the seaside village, many of which come with Planning Permission.

Both Strandhill and Rosses Point’s proximity to Sligo town makes them very attractive property options.

It’s all about demand, and where the work is.

The 5- 10 mile radius of Sligo town, including Rosses Point and Strandhill would definitely be the more popular places to buy or rent property at the moment.

Mark Mulholland of Mulholland Property Partners says that location plays a part in the popularity of housing in Strandhill and Rosses Point.

He explained: “A lot of people make enquiries about Strandhill, the Strandhill Road, Rose Hill and Oakfield with their proximity to town ensuring that they are very popular locations.”

The people of Strandhill have also made it a desirable place to be, as Walter Murphy from Murphy and Sons explains: “Strandhill is definitely one of the hotspots of Sligo property right now. It’s got a particularly vibrant community, and is a fantastic place to live.

“Anywhere with coastal views is popular, we also get lots of enquiries about Rosses Point too as it is in a brilliant location,” he added.

Among the most popular places to buy in Sligo is Rosses Point, and Shane Flanagan from DNG Flanagan Ford says the beautiful village on the Wild Atlantic Way remains hugely popular.

He said: “Rosses Point is still holding firm as one of the most popular places to buy or rent property in Sligo.

“Anytime reasonably priced property becomes available in the area, it is snapped up by smart buyers with knowledge of the area.

“It’s similar with Strandhill and the Strandhill Road,” the auctioneer added.

Demand from potential buyers is certainly alive along the coastal villages with properties attracting thousands of views when they go online.

It seems beside the sea is still the place buyers want to settle.
