TIDY TOWNS

The annual Tidy Towns adjudication period is still on and both of our local Tidy Towns Groups, Drumcliffe- Rathcormac and Carney, are busy keeping our village areas as clean and as tidy as possible. ( Well done to all the volunteers involved for all their time and effort so far). So please do your bit – keep an eye out for and pick up any litter, weeds, etc. Every little bit helps.

TRIP TO WINDSOR

Following on from last year’s very successful trip to the Cotswolds, a trip to Windsor, Oxford and Eton is being arranged. The plan is for a coach to leave Rathcormac on Monday, September 19, and spend four nights ( in B& B with evening meals etc.) in these famous English towns. CIRCUITS

New circuit fitness classes have started up at Oxfield on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 p. m. to 8 p. m. € 5 per class, and all fitness levels welcome to join in.

DRP BARBECUE

Save the date. The local Drumcliffe- Rosses Point GAA Club is hosting a club barbecue and exhibition football games in Oxfield on Saturday, August 27. There’ll be games and activities for all the family
