COMHALTAS SESSION

The monthly comhaltas session will be held in Nathy Brennan’s on Friday, August 5, with the Junior session starting at 9 p. m. followed by senior session at 10 p. m.

Congrats to all our young musicians who are competing in the All Ireland Fleadh in Ennis in mid- August we wish them well in their competitio­ns and we are very proud of their fantastic achievemen­ts in reaching this stage.

HIP HOP DANCE CAMP

Tubbercurr­y/ Cloonacool Community Games are holding a fundraisin­g Cake Sale on Friday, August 5, beside Roger Mccarrick office, Tubbercurr­y from 10 a. m. All support appreciate­d.

OLD FAIR DAY FESTIVAL

The 31st Tubbercurr­y Old Fair Day Festival runs from Saturday, August 6, to the highlight of the festival – the Old Fair Day on Wednesday, August 10. A fiveday festival this August for all the family to enjoy in South Sligo. The highlights of this year’s festival includes a dance with Lee Matthews and band in St Brigid’s Hall, Tubbercurr­y on Saturday, August 6.

Tickets are available in Gillespie’s menswear and Margaret Kennedy’s, cost € 10 with late bar. On Sunday, August 7, Surlis’s SuperValu sponsor our Family Fun Day with marquees full of free entertainm­ent, Fanzini Brothers and more...
