The team winners were Sofa King Fast which consisted of Jake O Regan, Seamus Somers and Damien Kennedy.

Well done also to Jack Cawley who was the first Young Warrior Male.

Richard Gorman ( Sligo AC) emerged victorious in winning the Longford Half Marathon for the second year in succession. Gorman won in a time of 01: 11: 26, almost 45 seconds ahead of second placed Philip Harty.

Richard, targeting the October Frankfurt Marathon, took advantage of the ideal conditions to dominate the race and he powered his way to another notable victory.
