INNISFREE WHEELERS AUTUMN SPORTIVE Enjoy a little pedal power this Sunday, 4th September by taking part in the Innisfree Wheelers Autumn Sportive, in partnership with The Sligo Champion and Skoda Burns Car Sales. Registration online at www.fitmagazine.ie The cycle starts at the Sligo Park Hotel from 9am with routes of 60k, 100k and 140k. Pasta party afterwards in the Sligo Park.

BENEFIT CONCERT COLLOONEY Top Russian harpist Ramona Sakalauskaite is joined by guest flautist and international star in her own right Marina Vologdina, also from St Petersburg at 8pm in Church of Assumption Collooney ( 31st Aug). Admission is free.

THE NATHAN CARTER SHOW Tyrone Productions in conjunction with RTE are producing a new TV series called “The Nathan Carter Show” taking place at the Knocknarea Arena at IT Sligo starting today Tuesday 30th of August and running for four consecutive nights until Friday the 2nd of September. INFORMAL MUSIC AFTERNOON Presented jointly by Sligo Baroque Orchestra and The Model, IMA features an eclectic range of music in the bright and airy environment of The Model’s atrium on Sunday 4th September. The Gallery Café is also open, serving a delicious range of food and drink.
