AWARD- WINNING travel videographers and writers, The Vagabrothers, Marko and Alex Ayling from California have returned to Sligo to continue their experience on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The brothers were recently named amongst the “top 100 most influential travel bloggers worldwide” by the U. S. White House summit on global citizenship and cultural exchange.

Last year the brothers undertook a ten day journey of the Wild Atlantic Way with Failte Ireland. They now return to continue their journey and video the spectacular and mystical views around Sligo.

Ciara Sugrue, Head of International Publicity with Fáilte Ireland, said: “We are delighted to welcome back the Vagabrothers Mark and Alex to Ireland which is a testimony to the strength of our tourist attraction and their interest in learning more about the Wild Atlantic Way.”

A bespoke itinerary was devised by Fáilte Ireland for the brothers trip to Sligo and included climbing Knocknarea Mountain, coasteering with Pete Craig of North West Coasteering in Mullaghmore where it offers some amazing coasteering routes providing some of the most breath taking backdrops in the area.

The brothers will also experience a seaweed bath at VOYA, immersing themselves in the Wild Atlantic Way’s finest natural produce, seaweed with its many health benefits ahead of speaking with Eithna O’Sullivan and lunching at Eithna’s by the Sea to talk about local food menus, fish and the use of seaweed in her recipes.
