ALICE IN WONDERLAND

This is the story of Geraldine Plunkett Dillon written and performed by Isolde ÓBrolcháin Carmody. This unique play will be screened on film, followed by a live Q& A with the writer/ actor Isolde ÓBrolcháin Carmody, in The Glens Centre, Manorhamilton on Friday 23rd September at 8: 30pm. This one- woman show centres around the events of Easter 1916. It brings a woman’s voice to the story of Ireland before and after the Rising, from stories of childhood in the 1890s to a young married woman struggling to keep her family safe and well in an atmosphere of revolution and retribution.
