TIDY TOWNS

As a fundraiser we are having a Halloween Fancy Dress Disco in the Owenmore Inn on Saturday, October 29., at 9.30 p. m. Cash prize for best costume on the night. Lots of great prizes including a weekend away. Tickets only € 5. Members of the committee will be doing a house to house raffle. All support will be appreciate­d.

BE SAFE, BE SEEN

Now as the evenings are getting darker earlier, please wear hi- viz vests while out walking, cycling etc. for your own safety and the safety of other road users. This cannot be emphasised enough.

TRAD MUSIC CLASS

The Teeling Centre Traditiona­l Music Class has resumed and continues every Tuesday at 6 p. m. for beginners, 6.40 p. m. fiddles and 7.20 p. m. for advanced. Classes in tin whistle, flute, fiddle etc. More details from Michael Hurley at 086 6036243.

BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET

Our workshop on Saturday, October 15, is ‘ Paper bag puppet making ‘ with Stephanie Barnes. The Market is open from 10 a. m. – midday. Everybody is welcome.
