Hermitage Green is an Irish acoustic folk rock band. Formed in July 2010, Hermitage Green has earned a name for them in the Limerick music scene.
Hermitage Green has spent the last couple of years touring and selling out shows in Ireland, the UK, and Australia.

BIG MAGGIE
Sligo Drama Circle continues the 60th Anniversary Year celebrations with a production of John B Keane’s classic drama Big Maggie.
The production will run from Tuesday the 8th of November to Saturday 12th of November from 8.00pm.
Set in rural 1960’ s Ireland, in a society that values prayer, property, land and keeping up appearances above all else, recently widowed Maggie Polpin’s plan to assert control over the family business and farm, marks the end of her relationship with her four children, tearing the family apart forever. TALKING TO STRANGERS
Michael Harding is one of Ireland’s most distinctive writers and storytellers and his recent memoirs ‘ Staring at Lakes’ and ‘ Hanging with the Elephant’ have touched a chord with audiences throughout the country.
Now he returns to the Hawk’s Well Theatre on Friday the 18th of November at 8.00pm with his latest book, ‘ Talking to Strangers’ and to ruminate on his life over the past 18 months, playing ‘ the Bull McCabe’ on stage in Dublin, struggling with self- doubt, faith, psychotherapy, and the chaos of building an extension to his home near Lough Allen.

WINTER
The recently released album ‘ winter’, a melodic blend of folk and rock from singer songwriter Ian Bordley, will be launched in Tricky’s McGarrigles, O’Connell st, Sligo on Thursday October 27th at 10pm.
Ian is a regular on the music scene in Co Sligo. Originally from North West England, he has been based in Strandhill since 2002. A versatile musician and singer he has played in bands locally and internationally with styles as diverse as hardcore punk, trad and prog rock.
The self penned album ‘ winter’ is a choice of songs spanning three decades and draws upon the experiences of life in two North West coastal towns in two separate countries.
He is joined on the night, and indeed, the album by two well known and well able musicians, Ray Coen and Steve Wickham.
