Jobs Minister is guest of honour at Chamber annual dinner
MINISTER for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor ( pictured) will be the Guest of Honour at this year’s Sligo Chamber’s Annual Dinner
The event will be held in the Castle Dargan Golf Hotel and Wellness Resort on Saturday 26th November 2016.
Speaking of the announcement, Des Faul, President of Sligo Chamber of Commerce said:“We are delighted that Minister Mitchell O’Connor has accepted our invitation to join us as our Guest of Honour and to speak at our Annual Dinner.
“The Annual Dinner is the social highlight of the Chamber’s calendar but also serves as an opportunity to discuss the strategic issues facing Sligo and the North West region of Ireland.
“By welcoming Minister Mitchell O’Connor as our guest, we will take the opportunity to highlight the challenges and opportunities that confront the business community in Sligo whilst also listening to the Minister’s plans for the development of our region”.

The Business Person of the Year Award, sponsored by Ocean Media, will be announced on the evening. The prestigious award is Sligo Chamber’s salute to a business for their outstanding contribution to the economic development of Sligo during 2016.
