Kian and Jodi on weekend TV show
Making a rare TV appearance, former Westlife star and The voice of Ireland Judge Kian Egan along with his wife, actress and boutique owner Jodi Albert recently appeared on the Ray D’Arcy show.
After spending 13 years between Ireland and England the couple have settled permanently in Sligo with their two children, Kao ( 4) and Zeke ( 17months) in the last year, with Kao attending school this year.
The couple have recently taken a step back from the show biz limelight with Jodi running the boutique and Kian doing the school run and some surfing.
The showbiz couple told D’arcy that the idea of bringing their family up in Sligo particularly Strandhill is amazing and they remarked about how beautiful and peaceful the place is.
Surf was the topic of conversation as Kian remarked that 4 year old Kao often surfs at ‘ Hour of Power’ with the Sligo Surf Club.
At the loss of her Mother in 2015, Jodi spoke of how it inspired her to set up her shop, located in Quayside.
‘ Jodie’s Boutique’ will celebrate its first birthday on November 14th. The couple both have a hands- on- approach to the business with Kian regularly up- dating the site and taking photos while Jodi sources the clothes.
Introduced to each other by Simon Cowell in their teenage years, the couple told Ray that they have ‘ always been a team’.
