More than an acre of their holding is set with herbs, a crop that is becoming more valuable each year as more people become interested in the alternative to regular medicine to cure many ailments such as insomnia, nervous disorders, digestive/ respiratory conditions, fatigue, and high blood pressure/ cholesterol.

There is definitely a huge market and a lot of different areas qualified herbalists can go into. It took us about four years to set everything up but everything is now at a point of production.”
This is the only herbal medicine processing facility in the country. The whole fafa cility is custom built to EU GPM standards which is specifically aimed at processing medicinal plants. Purchase of the facility includes all stock. An out- building built in 2006, which is currently being used as a clinic, also comes with the property with oil fired central heating.
The cottage, built in 1985, is spa- cious cious and has two beds,beds two large south facing conservatories and a solid fuel stove. Its kitchen is newly fitted and each bedroom features fitted wardrobes. Since the business was established four years ago, vast investment has been put into its growth.
