TABLE TENNIS CLUB

Bunninadde­n Table Tennis Club would like to sincerely thank everyone that made the Tractor, Honda, and Vintage Run a huge success on Sunday, October 23.

We would like to thank sponsors for sponsoring Spot Prizes on the day, marshalls, ladies for making the tea, sandwiches and delicious baking, for the use of the Community Centre, Church car park, and grounds at National School. To the players for demonstrat­ing their skill on the day, and to the parents of the club for their support and assistance.

Thanks to everyone who donated towards the fundraiser but could not take part on the day.

Bunninadde­n Table Tennis Club welcomes children and adults to training every Thursday night from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m. in the community centre. youngsters. The club is running last man standing, its € 10 to enter and the winner will take half of what is raised and the other half will go to fund to fund GAA equipment. The competitio­n starts on the 26 of November. We would encourage especially any parents with kids involved to participat­e. For more informatio­n, please visit the Cloonacool GAA Facebook page.

NEW DEFIBRILLA­TOR

The new defibrilla­tor has been installed at the community center. The code for opening the box is 3741. Instructio­ns for opening the box in the case of an emergency are written on the box. Training in CPR and use of an AED will take place in early November. It is hoped to get a wide cross section of the community to undertake the training. If you would like to do the training you can contact Karen McIntyre or Fergus Leonard.

MUSIC CLUB

Cloonacool Music Club takes place on Thursday at Brennan’s Bar from 10 p. m. Come along for a great night of music and singing.

WALKING GROUP

All are welcome to come along and join us, the group meets at St Michael’s Community Centre on Tuesday mornings at 9.30 a. m.

COMMUNITY PARK DRAW

The Community Park Draw for October took place in Brennan’s recently. Congratula­tions to the following winners, € 200 went to Cathal Killoran, € 100 was won by Siobhán McIntyre and € 50 each went to Micheál Carty and Siobhán Surlis. Consolatio­n prizes went to Michael Henry, Jason Brennan, Nathy and Monica Wims and John and Lisa Walker. Many thanks for your continued support.
