SOCIAL DANCE

The next Social Dance in the Community Centre, Skreen will take place on Saturday next November 12, with the music for dancing provided by Frank Nelson. Dancing from 9 p. m. Everyone welcome.

NEW BABY

Congratulations to Lisa Marie ( Costello, Derk) and Darragh Harkin, Collooney on the birth of their baby boy who was born on May 26, and baptised on October 23.

COOKERY CLASSES

Cookery Classes have commenced in Beltra Hall from Tuesday, October 18, and will continue on Tuesday nights from then starting at 7.30 p. m. each evening. Everyone welcome.

WEDDING

Congratulations to Catherine Clarke, Ballard, Beltra and Trevor Kilgallen, Carnaboll, Dromard on their recent marriage in St Adamnan’s Church, Skreen on October 21.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

Winter activities are now in full swing at the Community Centre, Skreen. Pilates on Monday evenings from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m.; Circuit Training on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8.30 p. m.; Girl Guides on Friday evenings at 5.30 p. m.; Junior Badminton on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 p. m. to 8.15 p. m. and Senior Badminton at 9 p. m.

The Red Hawks Girls Basketball has moved their meetings to Thursday evenings from October 20 at the Community Centre, Skreen and their meeting times are; First to Third Class from 6 p. m. to 7 p. m. and Fourth to Sixth Class from 7 p. m. to 8 p. m.

SYMPATHY

Deepest sympathy is extended to Marilyn Nealon and the Nealon family Ross Skreen on the recent death of her husband Martin Nealon, late of Ross, Skreen and to his daughters Helena and Sharon and to his sons Stephen and Martin.

Sympathy is also extended to his nephew Frank Murray and the Murray family Beltra PO and to his niece Maureen Rooney and the Rooney family, Farnaharpy, Skreen and to all his relatives and friends in the local area.
