Sligo children to feature in The Toy Show

-

TWO young dancers from Sligo Town have caught the eye of the Late Late Toy Show.

Fionn Mc Morrow ( 8) and Isabella Garvey ( 6) have been chosen to dance as part of the opening scene to the Late Late Toy Show on December 2nd. Both children are part of the Lisa- Cooper Dance Academy and auditioned for the Toy Show in Galway in late October. Fionn has also been selected to open the show where he will be dressed as Peter Pan and will fly in on a zip line before breaking into a dance routine.

Fionn’s Father Jason said: “He is delighted, it will be like water off a ducks back to him. They said the reason that they picked him was because when he went for the dance interview he cartwheeled into the room before starting his routine.”

Fionn has been in rehearsals the last few weekends in the run up to the most anticipated show of the year on Irish television. As well as preparing for the Toy Show, both dancers competed at the All Ireland Lyrical Dance Federation in Bundoran last weekend where they secured prizes. Also joining the Sligo dance duo at the Toy Show is a young boy from Ballintogher who built a Lego Replica of the Toy Show.

PJ Keegan ( 11) has been invited to take part in a toy demonstration at the Toy Show after he decided to build the set after last year’s toy Show, as he was annoyed no Lego was featured.

The Late Late Toy Show airs this Friday the 2nd of December.
