LOTTO RESULTS

Collooney Village Re- development Ltd lotto Results for November 23 were as follows: numbers drawn were 8, 14, 18 and 29; no winner of the jackpot prize. There were however, three correct numbers drawn and the lucky winners shared the prize of € 100. Congratulations and well done to Larry Davey, Niamh Quigley, Fiona Hannon. The next draw will be in Collooney Pharmacy on December 7 for a jackpot prize of € 10,000.

SYMPATHY

Deepest sympathy is extended to Alfie, Lawrence, Michael Quigley on the death of their mother, Josephine, in her 105th year. Mrs Quigley was a well known business woman in the town being involved in the family business – Shop, Bar and Petrol pumps for many years. Sympathy is extended to Michael’s wife, Olive and their family and to all of the extended family and friends. Mrs Quigley was laid to rest in St Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney following her funeral Mass on Tuesday last, November 22. May she rest in peace.

SCHOOL ENROLMENT

Enrolment Day For Scoil Mhuire agus Iosaf, Collooney will take place on Wednesday, November 30, from 2 p. m. to 3 p. m. in the Junior School. If you cannot call in to the school on the day, you can email the school on collooneyns@ gmail. com. The school is also taking enrolments for the special autism class and moderate general learning disabilities.

WEDDING BELLS

Congratulations to Melissa and Shane Kenny, who were married in the Church of the Assumption, Collooney on Saturday, November 19. Melissa is a daughter of Felicity and John Kenny, Kiernan Ave. and granddaughter of Mary and Michael White, Kiernan Ave., Collooney.

OWENMORE GAELS

The Owenmore Gaels AGM takes place on December 4 in the clubhouse with a time to be decided. If you are interested in putting your name forward for a committee position you must attend the meeting or contact the club Facebook page beforehand. All members are encouraged to attend.

A massive thank you to all those who continue to support the club lotto. The lottery took place in Connollys Pub on Monday, November 14, for the € 10,000 jackpot. Numbers and Lucky- dip winners can be seen on the Owenmore Gaels Web
