HARRY’S WIN
Harry McGinley was the top performer at the recent North Leitrim Men’s Group ‘ 25’ card game took place in the Bee Park Community Centre and it was no surprise when he was declared the outright winner at the end of this very competitive event.
The runner- up prize on this occasion was claimed by Paddy Connolly while Séamus Rooney took home the table prize. Phil Glancy enjoyed a win in the card drive’s raffle and Biddy McGrath’s luck was in for a second week in a row when she claimed the raffle’s second prize.
The North Leitrim Men’s group hosts a progressive ‘ 25’ card drive every Sunday night from 9 p. m. on in the Bee Park Community Centre. A North Leitrim Men’s group super card drive with € 1,000 in prizes will take place on this Sunday night, December 4, in the Bee Park Community Centre.
BOXING TOURNAMENT
The Seán McDermott Boxing Club will promote what is sure to be a great boxing tournament in the Bee Park Community Centre on Friday night, December 9, starting ar 8 p. m.
All the local Seán McDermott Boxing Club fighters will be involved in this tournament in which they will take on boxers from several other Clubs on the night’s top class bill of bouts.
The Seán McDermott Boxing Club fighters on duty will range from novice to very experienced and most of their boxers will be going into the ring for their first ever fights. The Rossinver Outreach Can- cer Support Group meeting, which is facilitated by the Sligo Cancer Support Group, will take place in the Ballagh Centre Rossinver on this Tuesday night, November 28, from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m.

CHRISTMAS FLORAL DEMO
A Christmas Floral demonstration by the highly regarded Austin Strong, entitled ‘ Deck the Halls,’ will take place in the Glens Centre Manorhamilton on Tuesday night, December 6, at 8 p. m.
Everyone is invited to attend. The admission charge is € 10 while mulled wine and mince pies will be provided for all attending. At the end of the event the exquisite floral arrangements on display will be raffled among the audience.
LEITRIM GUARDIAN
Large numbers from Drumkeerin and Killenummery attended the recent Leitrim Guardian launch in the Kilbrackan Arms Hotel Carrigallen at which Kilavoggy’s community champion, Hubert McHugh was installed as the 2017 Leitrim Guardian Person of the Year.

GLENCAR/ MANOR AGM
The Glencar/ Manor GAA Club annual general meeting will take place in the Bee Park Community Centre on Saturday night, December 3, at 8 p. m. All Glencar/ Manor Club members are invited to attend and new members will be most welcome.
