There was major disappointment for the Enniscrone- Kilglass/ Easkey under- 21 team following a four- point loss ( 3- 10 to 3- 6) to St Mary’s in an absorbing ‘ A’ Championship final last Sunday afternoon in Bunninadden. In what was a cracking contest, the sides were level 1- 3 to 0- 6 at the break, but St Mary’s established at 2- 9 to 1- 3 lead soon after the restart. Credit must go to our lads for their commendable fightback, but unfortunately their efforts fell just short. The team gave everything on the day and despite the loss can reflect on a very good campaign. Thanks to everyone for their efforts throughout the competition.
