PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Shamrock Gaels held their annual underage award ceremony last Saturday and it was great to see a full house with winners medals presented to the Minor Boys A League Winners, Minor Girls C Championship Winners and under- 16 girls A League Winners with runners- up medals presented to under- 16 boys A League and under- 14 girls A League.
Well done to those in the Player of the Year awards. Under- 10 Jack Tuohy and Ciara Gilligan. under- 12 Ciaran Kenny, Aaron Conlon and Ruby Clarke. under- 14 Aodhan Eivers and Isobel Clarke. under- 16 Shane Deignan and Rachel Boyd. Minor Andrew Flynn and Roisin Kearns. Well done to Andrew Flynn, who won overall Player of the Year.

COMMUNITY GAMES
Swimming – Forms for Community Games should by now have been completed and returned but for anyone who did not receive a form there are some available in Nairns shop. Local swimming competition is the first scheduled event and will take place on Saturday, January 28, at 7 p. m. in the Sports Complex, Sligo. ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Riverstown St Patrick’s Day Parade will take place at 2.30 p. m. on Friday, March 17. Further information to follow
LADIES NIGHT OUT
