SLIGO COMPANY BRINGS INNOVATIVE MASTERCLASS ON NATIONWIDE TOUR

-

Ireland’s first ever interiors roadshow was launched by Sligo- based company, House/ EDIT, an online shoppable interiors platform.

‘ Insiders Secrets’ is a series of intimate interior design and style masterclasses run by some of the most stylish Interior Architects in Ireland.

The events, the first of which will take place in Sligo on March 11th at the Radisson Hotel, are unlike any other interiors event ever to be held in Ireland, and will feature a host of big names in the interiors world.

‘ Insiders Secrets’ will also include a style workshop run by Personal Stylist Orla Sheridan who will be talking all things fashion.

House/ EDIT’s Interior Architects Claire Price and Elaine Regan – who are both IT Sligo graduates — as well as special guest Interior Architect and RTE Design Judge Roisin Lafferty of Kingston Lafferty Design — will give accessible and practical tips on interiors.

Other well- known interiors experts at the events will include the founders of companies such as CA Design, April and the Bear, and Dust.

“This is a whole new con- cept for interiors: unique, intimate, round- table events in luxury surroundings. Similar intimate events have proven to be successful in both fashion and beauty and we are now bringing that model to the interiors world,” said House/ EDIT co- founder Claire Price.

“We feel there is an appetite for interiors to be consumed in a fun – rather than laborious – context and that’s what ‘ Insiders Secrets’ is all about.

It will take the chore out of home improvement and make it fun, accessible and exciting. These informative, enjoyable and stylish days out will bring the best of interiors together – from designers and well- known homeware brands to colour experts.”

Guests will learn about defining styles; colour; styling; accessorising and where to source your interior items. Afternoon tea will be served and there will be a Q& A with the industry experts.

Attendees are not only guaranteed a fun day out which answers their specific interiors, design and personal style questions, they will also walk away with goodie bags, spot prizes and exclusive sourcing guides.

Roisin Lafferty, founder of the award- winning Dublin design house company, Kingston Lafferty Design, said:“As part of my involvement in the masterclasses, I hope to give homeowners and aspiring designers inspiring yet achievable ideas and resources to help them create spaces that are uniquely their style. “Our homes can bring us enormous satisfaction when we achieve a functional yet beautiful space. I hope that my ideas will clearly convey how this balance can be struck in clever and creative ways.”

Orla Sheridan, style expert and personal stylist, said:“I hope this experience will empower you to make better long term styling decisions that will benefit both your wardrobe and lifestyle.” Derek Byrne, Marketing Manager of Fleetwood Prestige who are running the event in association with the Sligo based company said: “We are delighted to be involved with the ‘ Insiders Secrets’ events.

“Working with a like- minded brand and having the opportunity to engage with people who have a passion for high- quality interiors and home design is the perfect match for Fleetwood Prestige.”
