NORTH Sligo swimmer Mona McSharry left her competitors in her wake at the Swim Ulster Internationals last weekend when she won five Gold medals and also set a new Irish Junior record in the 50m butterfly, 100m breaststroke and 200m breaststroke.
Not content with that, the 16- year- old also qualified for this year’s European Junior Championships which are taking place in Israel and also the World Junior Championships which are in the US.
Grange’s Mona was competing at the Dave McCullagh/ Swim Ulster International in Bangor and she was in impressive form.
