Internet Safety Awareness for Adults - The Réalt na Mara parents’ associatio­n are hosting a free ‘ Internet Safety Awareness for Adults’ event on Wednesday, March 8, at 7.30 in Co Sligo Golf Club, Rosses Point.

GAA Registrati­on Night Club registrati­on for Drumcliffe- Rosses Point GAA Club takes place this Wednesday, March 1, in Scoil Réalt Na Mara from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m.

GAA NURSERY STARTS

The GAA club’s popular Saturday morning nursery coaching starts for 2017 in Oxfield this Saturday, March 4, Coaching for players born in 2011,2012 and 2013 starts at 9.45 a. m. ( indoors). Coaching for players born 20072010 starts at 10.30 a. m. ( outdoors). New players are welcome.

Well done to our quiz team on Ocean FM’s Pole Position radio sports quiz, who successful­ly negotiated their first round match recently. The team trio of John O’Callaghan, Cormac O’Brien and Austin O’Callaghan now progress to the quarter- finals.
