There was no winner of the jackpot prize of € 10,000 however there were four lucky winners of € 25 each and they were: Bob Chapman, Marty Kerins, Kathleen Watters and Philip Candon. The next draw will be held tomorrow evening, March 1 in Connollys Pub. Entry envelopes are available in local businesses and good luck to all who enter.

Collooney Bingo continues every Thursday night at 9 p. m. in Collooney Hall. All proceeds are in aid of Collooney Handball Club.

FIRST CONFESSION

Congratula­tions to pupils of our National Schools both in Collooney and Ballinacar­row, who celebrated their First Confession on Tuesday, February 21, last. Well done to the pupils, their parents and teachers.

OWENMORE GAELS

Well done to Roland Anderson, Jack Foley and James Duffy, who were all part of the Sligo Minor panel who beat Longford in the first round of the Connacht league in Markievicz Park on Saturday.

The club is planning on running a six- week nursery for children aged between 4 and six years old. It will be one hour a week full of indoor activities. More details to follow. If parents would be interested in getting involved please contact Niall 087 7609420.
