WEST SLIGO SINGERS

West Sligo Singers are a new choir based in Skreen and they meet on Tuesday nights in Church of Ireland Hall Skreen. People of all ages and abilities are welcome to come along and enjoy a fun evening of singing. For further details contact email westsligos­ingers@ gmail. com.

DRAMA GROUP

The Skreen- Dromard Drama Group will stage their three- act comedy play – Betwixt and Between – in the Art Deco Theatre Ballymote County Sligo on March 4. This is the new play from playwright M. J. Ginnelly. Doors open at 7.30 for a 8 p. m. start. Tickets can be got from Lavins Menswear Ballymote or Gillespie’s Tubbercurr­y and from any member of the cast. A night of comedy not to be missed.

DANCING CLASS

A social dancing class has commenced in the Skreen- Dromard Community Centre on Thursday evenings from 8 p. m. to 10 p. m. where one can learn to Jive Foxtrot Quickstep Waltz and more while keeping fit. Just come along any Thursday evening and enjoy.

PRE- SCHOOL

Anyone intending to send their child/ children to the Skreen- Dromard Pre- School in the coming three years is asked to contact Deborah immediatel­y as places are limited. Beltra Country Market continues every Saturday Morning in Beltra Hall and Grounds from 10 a. m. to midday.

GO FOR LIFE CLUB

The Go for Life Club runs every Tuesday afternoon at the Community Centre, Skreen from 2.30 p. m. to 3.30 p. m. – promoting activity through gentle exercise indoor games and refreshmen­ts served also. For further details contact 087 6649635.
