FLORAL PRIDE

Please notes that ‘ Floral Pride’ has been replaced by ‘ Environmental and Community Awards’, and this year’s judging of the competition in ‘ The Manor’ will take place on Monday, July 3, at around 11.05 a. m.

Leitrim County Council are very pleased to announce that their guest judge is Éanna Ní Lamhna, the renowned biologist, environmental consultant, radio and television presenter, author and educator.

The judging criteria for the category we are involved in are as follows: Voluntary community effort – 25%; Absence of litter – 15%; Landscaping/ biodiversity/ weedcontrol – 25%; Green Initiatives ( energy/ waste) – 25%; Overall impression – 10%.

Let’s all do our bit to give the best of impressions on Monday, July 3.

HALL BOOKINGS

Newtownmanor Hall is available for booking, by adult groups, wishing to organise an event or training. Hall costs are € 15 per hour.
